November 25th was a big day for our Arenacross team! Mike Alessi, one of the most successful racers, decided Team Babbitt's was the right move for the 2021 Arenacross season. Mike joins us after AMA-sanctioned points-pyaing races in 2019 when he competed in seven rounds of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Since then, he continued to compete in several different championships and one-off races through the remainder of 2019, including: the Hawaii Supercross, the Rockstar Energy MX Tour in Canada, the Monster Energy Cup, and more - basically anything he was able to lineup for. Mike did not compete in any AMA Supercross or Motocross events in 2020, but said racing is still his passion, racing at places like Moto Fite Klub and the World Vet Championships.
Last year, Team Babbitt's found more success with Kyle Bitterman and Darian Sanayei. Kyle finished 2nd overall while Darian was right behind him, despite Sanayei being injured for more than a couple races. This is a another successful season under our belts.
Our team has found major success in the Arenacross world for several years now, always finding the podium. Our team has captured the past eight of the nine AMA Arenacross Championships we competed in from 2010 - 2020. We couldn't be more excited for Mike to join us and contribute to more success for our team.
