BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN™’S JOSH STRANG WINS OPENING ROUND OF FULL GASSPRINT ENDURO
LAURINBURG, NC – Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy®/Kawasaki Team Green™ rider Josh Strang capped off his long-awaited return to racing with a commanding win at Saturday’s Full Gas Sprint Enduro (FGSE) at the Outback Motorsports Complex in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
Strang piloted his No. 17 KXTM450X to a win in Test 1 of the day and never looked back. After that, logging wins in all nine of the remaining tests and going ten for ten in test wins for the day. The long-standing Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green Rider would end the opening round by topping his nearest competition by nearly 45 seconds.
"Honestly, I was a little nervous as it’s been around 8–9 months since I have raced, and "I haven't raced at 100% in almost a year," Strang said of his time off due to an arm injury. "But I felt comfortable and in control today; I was able to win all ten tests, so I’ll take it!" Strang will look to continue his race-winning ways in one week's time at the first Grand National Cross Country Championship (GNCC) of the year in Union, South Carolina.
